We hired Lakeside Roofing to install an R-panel metal roof on our 21 year old house. Prior to getting an estimate, we received three recommendations that we reach out to them. We scheduled the installation for late summer. It took about four days. The crew was hard working and courteous. They straightened up each evening and the final cleanup was excellent. We are thrilled with the results. But, the real sign of customer service happened during the winter wind storms. A few pieces of siding trim came loose just above the porch roof. Gene stopped out and had it fixed in less than 2 hours of my call. I highly recommend Lakeside Roofing.

I have had Lakeside Roofing work on my house 3 separate times. They installed new gutters on my house this year and had to make repairs to a previous gutter install from 3 years ago. They did a great job on the repair to a previous install - however, I did have to pay additional costs to get the repairs completed.

I cannot say enough good things about Luis, Alex, Emilio, and Alex from the Kanga team. From start to finish, this crew delivered a first-class metal roof installation that exceeded every expectation.
They were professional, respectful, and extremely hard-working, with clear attention to detail at every stage of the job. It was obvious they knew exactly what they were doing, from proper underlayment prep and flashing work to clean panel alignment, fastening consistency, and finishing details. Everything that should have been done on a high-quality metal roof install was done correctly.
Additionally what set this crew apart, was their empathy and consideration. I was recovering from an injury and had limited mobility, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable, informed, and never felt like an inconvenience. That level of care is rare and speaks volumes about their professionalism and character.
They were well-mannered, communicated clearly, and worked tirelessly. The end result is a fantastic roof that reflects both skill and pride in craftsmanship.
Solar panels have been installed effectively on the LEED certified metal roof. In combination, a great way to move forward with a more eco-sustainable and eco-safe living approach.

I don’t feel like this company is very transparent. I had them come out for an estimate which was basically me giving them my insurance claim and them taking all 33,000 plus of the money and wanting more. I never received a detailed bill, which I did ask for. I have no clue as to what was actually done because the contract I signed (stupidly) was very basic as to what they were doing. I felt very pressured to singing the contract and giving Gene a 2,000 cash deposit. I told him I was waiting on one estimate and he was very pushy about me signing and giving him the money. I definitely felt taken advantage of and uncomfortable but that was my fault for singing it. My brother in law had told them that he was going to rip off my deck so that I could save the 1,400 they added to the total cost. They didn’t listen to him because I came home from work and they had tore it off anyway. Leaving me owing them 1,400. I still have no idea what was actually done under my roof and siding before applying both. I was supposed to get white trim, I came home to grey trim. They put my old chimney cap back in which was beat all to hell. It actually flew off a couple days after they were “done” with the work and then they replaced it with a new one. They left their lift machine on wood that was a barrier around my side door breaking the wood. I had to have them come back out and clean up all the nails that were left around my yard. They threw out my doorbell. I was told they would put my new light fixtures on. Which they did after I asked the guy about it and he was annoyed. He said well if it’s an easy install. Luckily I was home or that would have never happened. They have all ready had to come out and fix siding that they installed because it was slipping. Some of my downspouts have all ready broken because they are cheap and fragile. You would think that 35,000 plus would cover a job to be done correct. If I could go back I would have gone with my first instinct and go with the company that I was waiting to get an estimate from. I still owe them 1,400 and I still have no idea what anything really cost because I never received that detailed bill I asked for. I feel like he saw my insurance estimate and took complete advantage of me. I would highly recommend going with a company that is fully transparent, not one that saw the amount you received from insurance and took every penny and then some to leave you owing them money. This is my first home and as a single female not knowing a lot about this stuff they totally took advantage of that.

Our roof was a very challenging roof, complete with a spiral turret roof. They did all the structural repairs to the turret as well as the remaining very complex roof. We added copper for flashing which was a bit extra work. They did it with impressive skill. Their workmanship is beyond excellent. The workers were not only skilled but patient with changes that we needed made during the project. I can not recommend them more.
