Once construction began, the professionalism of the crew stood out immediately. The project was organized, efficient, and ran with a clear plan every day. They rebuilt our flat roof with serious attention to detail, especially around drainage areas and previous problem spots that had caused us headaches for years. We installed brand new wood decking and insulation to the roofing project with all the necessary accessories. The job site was always clean and controlled, which made a big difference in a busy NYC environment.
When the project was finished, the roof looked flawless — smooth, uniform, and properly sealed. More importantly, you can tell the system was installed the right way, not just made to look good. I first heard about this company NY Roofing when my neighbor replaced his roof a few years ago he’s had zero leaks or issues since, so I knew who to call when I started having problems. I had a small but persistent leak near my roof hatch, and after trying multiple handymen and roofers, the issue always came back.
From the first appointment with NY Roofing, the experience felt different. Mike came out and spent over an hour doing a detailed inspection of the entire property. He explained that the metal roof hatch had been installed incorrectly and that there was missing insulation outside and throughout parts of the house, which was contributing to the problem.
We decided to move forward with a full flat roof replacement, new wood decking, and High Grade R30 Batt insulation in the crawlspace to improve energy efficiency. The NY Roofing crew showed up with about 20 workers and completed everything in just one day including a new skylight, gutters, metal coping, flashing, roof air ventilation and upgraded flat rubber roofing membrane system and waterproofing details. The job site was organized, professional, and impressive to watch.
My Family lives in Canarsie, Brooklyn, New York and after 30 years in this house, my new roofing finally feels protected. I’m incredibly happy with the results and now our family has real peace of mind for many years to come. Highly recommend!
